TULSA, Okla. –– Tulsa scored 14 points in less than three minutes to overcome a fourth-quarter deficit and defeat ULM, 34-24, in front of a crowd of 17,490 Saturday evening at H.A. Chapman Stadium. The Golden Hurricane improved to 3-2, while the Warhawks fell to 1-4 on the season.
Tulsa led 20-7 at the half, but ULM scored 17 straight points to go ahead, 24-20, at the end of the third quarter. The Hurricane then scored two touchdowns in a span of 2:30 to make the score 34-24, and held on for the victory in its final non-conference contest of the season.
