Deveaux faces charges in Sweden related to his vicious stick swinging attack on Vasteras IK captain Per Halmersson.
Apparently, Deveaux has some video evidence that will show other injuries fro msituations Swedish officials ignored – as if that should downplay Deveaux’s incident.
It’s pretty cut and dry: Deveaux had a choice to make. He could have (a) not attacked the Vaseras IK captain with his stick or, (b) he could do what he did and attack him.
One of those options would have resulted in Deveaux’s hockey career not spiraling into non-existence. There will be no video that Deveaux can produce to justify his on-ice actions.
