A mid-season bye week is the perfect time to pause and take stock of what the Texas Tech football team has done over the first five weeks of the season. Every college football season is a rollercoaster but no season in the “Air Raid” era of the program has seen more twists and turns over the first five weeks than this one.
Tech has already had two different starting quarterbacks fail to finish a game because of injury. In all, Kliff Kingsbury has had to rely on all three of his QBs to play meaningful snaps. That is a first for Kingsbury who has repeatedly said that he does not like to play multiple players at that position.
