The Texas Tech Red Raiders have a home crowd ready for their matchup with the Kansas Jayhawks, who are currently ranked 8th in the country. The Red Raiders are 6th in the country, their highest ranking in program history. The Red Raiders beat the Jayhawks in Lawrence by a score of 85-73 on January 2nd and now have a chance to be the first team to sweep Kansas in a season series during the Bill Self Era.
College Gameday came to Lubbock Saturday morning, which is a first for the program's history.
