With several injuries to Texas Tech quarterbacks this year, Kliff Kingsbury has announced that Jett Duffey will start this Saturday when the Texas Tech Red Raiders face off against the Texas Longhorns. Duffey came into the season as the 3rd string quarterback, but after injuries to McLane Carter and Alan Bowman, Duffey will get his second start of the season.

Duffey has seen plenty of action this season with appearances in 5 games and a winning start at TCU.
