For the third week in a row, Texas Tech has fallen in heartbreaking fashion. In this week’s edition, Tech made a miraculous comeback in the fourth quarter. The Red Raiders battled back from a 34-17 fourth quarter deficit. Tech was even able to tie the game on an Antoine Wesley touchdown catch. Unfortunately, a 29 yard Texas touchdown with 21 seconds left eventually held off the late comeback bid.
In replacement of Alan Bowman, Jett Duffey showed improvement. The sophomore passed for 444 yards on 37 completed passes. Duffey also led the Red Raiders in rushing with 80 yards.
