Desmond Nisby’s transfer hurts running back depth

On May 16th, Desmond Nisby, one of Texas Tech’s leading rushers last season, announced his decision to transfer from the university for his senior year. Nisby hasn’t yet disclosed what college he will be completing his football career at.

I would like to thank Coach Foster, Coach Juluke, and Coach Kingsbury and everyone involved in the Texas Tech athletic program for giving me an opportunity. Nisby, the 6’1, 235-pounder was known for his stocky build and ability to barrel through opposing players in short yardage and goal line attempts.
