FORT WORTH - Texas Tech athletic director Kirby Hocutt expects a decision soon on continuing the series with Baylor at AT&T Stadium.
The current four-year contract expires after this season. If the Big 12 schedule, which should be released in the next couple of weeks, keeps the game on Thanksgiving weekend, Hocutt said the game is likely to stay in Arlington. Otherwise, he expects it to revert to a home-and-home series.
“There are recruiting advantages for playing it in the Metroplex,” Hocutt said at halftime of the Tech-TCU game. “There’s a lot of reasons to play it there.
