The Texas Tech football program is adding recruits this summer as fast as Kliff Kingsbury’s offenses usually add points to the scoreboard in the fall. Monday, Kingsbury and his staff added their 13th commitment to the 2019 class since the start of June when Houston cornerback Alex Hogan pledged to the Red Raiders. He was the second defensive back to commit to Texas Tech Monday following safety Brandon Joseph of College Station.
The 5-foot-11, 170-pound cover man and kick returner is rated the No. 66 corner in the country and the No. 98 player in Texas regardless of position.
