PHILADELPHIA – Women's soccer head coach Seamus O'Connor is delighted to announce the addition of Elana Falcone as a captain for the 2016 season.
"Elana was a part of a group of potential captains we identified," O'Connor said. "Unfortunately we lost two of them, Cait Jackson and Gina DiTaranto, to career ending injuries"
Throughout her career, Falcone has played in 27 games throughout her Temple career, while starting 13. In her appearances, Falcone has netted six goals and compiling six assists and 18 points.
"Elana has shown us over the course of her time in our program, that as we move into the next phase for our program, she has the personality and character to help continue to guide the positive direction we are heading," O'Connor added.
