CINCINNATI -- The Temple volleyball team used an all-around team effort to sweep league-leading Cincinnati on the road on Sunday afternoon. The 3-0 win (25-18, 25-19, 25-20) improves the Owls to 14-6 overall, 7-3 in conference play, while the Bearcats move to 12-8 overall, 8-2 in the American.
Temple held Cincinnati to just a .145 attack, racking up 8.5 blocks and 45 digs in the 3-0 sweep.
Junior Irem Asci tallied 13 kills to lead the Owls, also adding 15 digs for her second-straight double-double. Senior Tyler Davis and junior Izzy Rapacz each picked up seven kills, with Rapacz adding nine digs and four blocks.
