The Portland Pilots gave up five runs in the seventh inning to drop the first game of the doubleheader 8-5. Portland fell to 8-7 with the loss.
Brady Bean and Dakota Chun were solid at the plate in Game 1, with each batter going 2-for-5 with a home run. Bean drove in three runs and Chun drove in two.
