DALLAS - After wrapping up regular season play, New Mexico State senior guard Jemel Jones has earned All-CUSA Second Team honors, as announced by Conference USA this afternoon.
The 6-4 senior guard from Chicago, Ill., has emerged as the Aggies' primary offensive leader throughout the season, appearing in all 30 regular season games with 28 starts. Jones leads NM State in scoring at 17.8 points per game, which is tied for third in Conference USA, while shooting 44% from the field, 38% from beyond the arc (team-high) and 83% from the free throw line, which ranks sixth in the conference.
