NCAA track championships: Five Huskers grab second-team honors

Nebraska's Brittni Wolczyk and Sarah Firestone both finished as second-team All-Americans in the javelin on Thursday at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Eugene, Oregon.

Tierra Williams and Paula Andrie both recorded second-team All-American performances as well in the long jump and pole vault, respectively. Williams still has a chance to earn All-American honors in the triple jump on Saturday.

The men's decathlon concluded Thursday, with Cody Walton earning second-team status finishing 12th with 7,567 points.

On Friday, the Husker men's 4x400 relay will compete in the finals.
