They anchored the top of the Nebraska softball lineup all season, and on Wednesday, Kiki Stokes and MJ Knighten were named All-Americans.
Knighten, a junior third baseman, was named to the first team by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association, becoming the seventh Husker to receive first-team honors. Stokes, meanwhile, was named to the third team for a second straight season as an outfielder.
The Huskers had multiple All-Americans for the second time in three seasons, and for the eighth time overall.
Knighten pieced together one of the top offensive performances in school history. She finished with 64 hits, 61 runs and 60 RBIs.
