OMAHA -- Indiana found the depths of the Big Ten regular season when the Hoosiers were swept in Lincoln last weekend -- outscored 9-1 in three games.
The Hoosiers sent Nebraska to the bottom Thursday in a 6-2 victory over the Huskers, ending NU's quick trip to the Big Ten Tournament at TD Ameritrade Park.
Nebraska, held to a season-low three hits on Wednesday in a 5-1 loss to Michigan State, managed just three hits against Indiana.
The Huskers (37-20) are still a likely candidate for a bid to the NCAA Tournament that starts next week at 16 regional sites with four teams each.
