Nebraska earned an NCAA Tournament bid Monday, and the third-seeded Huskers will face the second-seed Cowboys on Friday at 11 a.m. in Clemson, South Carolina. The former Big 12 rivals last met in a doubleheader at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha in 2013.
Tournament selection committee chair Joel Erdmann, in an interview with ESPNU, identified Nebraska as one of the last three teams in the tournament.
Big Ten Tournament champion Ohio State earned the conference's automatic bid and Minnesota, the regular-season conference champion, earned an at-large bid.
