Boldt likely to lead NU juniors in MLB draft

The 2016 Major League Baseball Draft Thursday through Saturday will likely see the three-year Nebraska center fielder picked in the first four rounds of the draft.

The Huskers also are likely to see junior pitchers Max Knutson and Derek Burkamper, and junior first baseman Ben Miller picked in the 40-round draft.

Nebraska's seniors, shortstop Steven Reveles, pitcher Jeff Chesnut and catcher Taylor Fish, could also be with a major-league organization before long.

Cole Stobbe, co-captain of the Journal Star Super-State baseball team from Millard West, is also expected to be chosen in the first four rounds.
