Lincoln – Home games against five NCAA Tournament qualifiers highlight Nebraska’s 2016-17 Big Ten opponents released Monday by the Big Ten Conference.
The slate includes home tilts with Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Purdue and Wisconsin among the nine Big Ten teams which will visit Pinnacle Bank Arena this season.
As part of the Big Ten’s schedule rotation, five teams (Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Northwestern and Ohio State) will serve as NU’s double-play opponents this season, as the Huskers will face those five times in Lincoln and on the road.
In addition, NU’s home single-play home opponents will feature Sweet 16 qualifier Wisconsin, along with Purdue, Penn State and Illinois.
