Sounders win MLS Cup: The Rapid React

Despite failing to put a single shot on target, with only 3 total shots, the Seattle Sounders won the MLS Cup on Penalty Kicks last night. After a 0-0 draw over the course of 90 minutes, neither team could find a goal in extra time either. But it took a sensational Stefan Frei save on Jozy Altidore to keep it that way.

In penalty kicks, Seattle came out on top, 5 to 4. Former Colorado Rapid Clint Irwin made an awesome save on Alvaro Fernandez, and fellow former Rapids defender Drew Moor converted his first ever MLS penalty shot low and to the right.
