The Pac-12 continued to beat each other up and nearly guaranteed we won't have a representative in the playoff this year. The week featured major upsets, nail biting finishes and a dominant Cal performance. What more could you ask for?
Week 9 did perhaps more damage to the Pac-12 standings than any other week of the season. Cal utterly dominated a very inexperienced Oregon State team, Wazzu coughed up a late lead against UCLA to come storming back and win in dramatic fashion and Arizona beat Utah in double overtime. Parity in the Pac-12 conference was at its peak and a few other teams saw their conference championship hopes stay alive.
