This week was a special preview for Saturday's spring game
On this week's episode of the Bearcast, we tracked down Eugene after about six months or so to come talk about the spring game and the depth chart. Luckily football requires many moving pieces, so we had a lot of people to talk about. Some things we talked about are as follows:
- The current depth at receiver and running back
- Who's going to be the quarterback when Cal heads to Hawaii?
- The new size and relative inexperience of the defensive backfield
- We each picked three players to watch out for on the defensive side of the ball
- Small changes in the system from Franklin to Spavital
- General talk about spring ball standouts.
